CHRIS BROWN

principal

For over 20 years, Chris Brown has been designing gardens for custom residential clients. Before starting CMBLA in 2018, he worked for one of the world's most renowned landscape architects, designing private gardens for exclusive properties throughout the world. His designs have included a living sculpture garden consisting of 100 year-old Olive Trees, private island resorts in the Bahamas and Seychelles, and even a private, 3-hole golf course modeled after Augusta National’s famed Amen Corner. Chris has restored historically-significant gardens of grand estates, and worked with the Pritzker Prize winning firms to create natural settings suited to their modern masterpieces. Today with CMBLA, he continues his focus on high-end residential landscape design, working with clients and their design teams, to build homes and gardens that are a timeless expression of their vision, from first planting to maturity.
